Capabilities

Fab welding and high-purity piping capabilities by role

WELDK sources Korean technicians in six fab-construction roles, including manual and orbital GTAW welders for 316L EP/BA tubing, high-purity piping, fitters, foremen and QA/QC. Hiring is employer-paid direct hire with candidates paying $0, and every profile is screened by people before you run your own interviews and weld tests.

Standards and documentation

Experience typically includes:

  • Working to client WPS/PQR and project weld procedures
  • Exposure to ASME B31.3 process piping and ASME Section IX qualification practice
  • High-purity practices common on semiconductor projects (SEMI-style cleanliness, double-bagged components)
  • Weld logs with welder ID, heat numbers and coupon/borescope records

WELDK does not certify welders. Qualification is confirmed through your procedures and tests.

Frequently asked questions

Can WELDK candidates weld 316L EP and BA tubing?

Orbital welders and UHP piping specialists in our scope typically have experience with 316L electropolished (EP) and bright-annealed (BA) tubing for gas and chemical lines. Each candidate's actual experience is listed in their profile, and you confirm it with your own weld test.

Do you certify welders?

No. WELDK does not issue certifications. Staff review the experience and documents candidates provide, and any qualification to a code or client procedure is done through your own weld procedure and performance testing.

Which standards are your candidates familiar with?

Experience typically includes working to client weld procedures on semiconductor projects, with exposure to ASME B31.3 process piping, ASME Section IX qualifications and SEMI-style high-purity practices. Familiarity varies by person and is noted per profile.

Can you supply a full crew with a foreman?

We can look for a foreman together with welders, fitters and QA/QC for one engagement. How many consenting, qualified candidates are available depends on timing and requirements, so we confirm the shortlist rather than promise headcount.

Do candidates speak English?

Levels vary. Foremen and QA/QC inspectors more often work in English documentation; many trades rely on basic site English and drawings. We state each candidate's self-reported level, and you assess it at interview.
